Marburg, Jul 16th, 2013 – VI-grade, the leading provider of best-in-class products and services to bridge the gap between real world testing and technical simulation, today announced that RML Group, the UK-based leading high performance automotive engineering and multi-discipline motorsport organization, has selected VI-CarRealTime, the specialized real-time vehicle simulation environment from VI-grade, to optimize the design of their vehicles, to support and further develop the high level of engineering and operational success of its racing programs. In detail, RML is starting to use VI-CarRealTime from VI-grade for a number of projects, but primarily on the very successful Chevrolet Cruze competing in the FIA World World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

Similarly, VI-CarRealTime also enables to share component property files such as tires, springs, dampers, and bumpstops with ADAMS/Car™. VI-CarRealTime provides validated models which can be used by controls and hydraulic engineers to optimize the controller design based on accurate vehicle performance.
