Marburg, Jan 30th, 2014 – VI-grade, the leading provider of best-in-class products and services to bridge the gap between real world testing and technical simulation, today announced that Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd (GAC), the leading Chinese automotive manufacturer, selected VI-CarRealTime, the specialized real-time vehicle simulation environment from VI-grade, to optimize the dynamic performance of its vehicles. In particular, the GAC research and development division will use VI-CarRealTime during the conceptual phase of new vehicles as well as for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop/HIL applications. GAC is planning to take full advantage of some unique features available in VI-CarRealTime, such as the possibility to import data from K&C rig tests, the possibility to perform automatic Max Performance studies as well as of simulating ISO Lane Change maneuvers in closed loop with automatic detection of cones hitting.
