VI-grade will participate to the "GPU Technology Conference" to be held from October 10th to October 12th, 2017 in Munich, Germany.
VI-grade will be present at the event with a paper titled "ADAS Development using Advanced Real-Time All-in-the-Loop Simulators" and presented by Diego Minen (VI-grade, Technical Director) and Enrico Busto (AddFor S.p.A., Technical Director). The presentation will show how driving simulators together with DNN algorithms can be used in order to streamline and facilitate the development of ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle systems. The work will focus on a special application in which NVIDIA DRIVE PX 2 has been interfaced with a camera and put in the loop on a driving simulator. Object recognition algorithms have been developed in order to develop and test a Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system.

We will participate to the 25th International Symposium on Dynamics of Vehicles on Roads and Tracks, taking place at Central Queensland University Rockhampton, Queensland, from 14-18 August 2017.
The International Symposium on Dynamics of Vehicles on Roads and Tracks is the leading international Symposium bringing together researchers, scientists and engineers from academia and industry in the field of ground vehicle dynamics to present and exchange their latest ideas and breakthroughs.
We will be present at the event with two technical papers, one dedicated to automotive ADAS technologies and one dedicated to rail wear.
We are happy to invite you to the 2017 edition of our International Users Conference!
The event, dedicated to executive managers and experienced engineers belonging to the main automotive, motorsports, motorcycle and rail companies, universities and research centers from all over the world, will be held on May 10th-11th, 2017 at the Museo dell'Automobile - one of the most important and oldest automobile museums in the world – located in Corso Unità d'Italia 40, Turin, Italy.
The event, characterized by the motto “Bridging the gap between testing and simulation”, is organized with the collaboration of 1 platinum sponsor (Saginomiya), 4 golden sponsors (Cosin, Danisi Engineering, MSC Software and Sim.Co.VR), 9 silver sponsors (3D Mapping, Barco, Bruel & Kjaer, Concurrent Real-Time, Esteco, FEV, MIRA, Multimatic and OKTAL) and 3 bronze sponsors (AddFor, BE CAE & Test and MegaRide).
The conference offers to executive managers and users from all over the world a very comprehensive 2-day program with 40 keynote and technical papers divided in discipline-specific sessions moderated by industry experts and also features a round-table discussion related to new and emerging automotive technologies. The event will also feature an interesting technical showcase area in which VI-grade and its partners will present their solutions.
On May 9th, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm you are also cordially invited to join the Ice Breaker event hosted in the brand new Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Centerat the Danisi Engineering premises in Nichelino (Turin) - located very close to the conference venue. The event will provide the opportunity to discover the whole range of driving and steering simulation solutions (from vehicle dynamics to NVH, from ride to ADAS) offered by VI-grade, Danisi Engineering and partners.
Confirmed speakers for the conference are: Alfa Romeo, Danisi Engineering, Ferrari, FEV, Fraunhofer ITWM, Honda, HPE, Lamborghini, Magneti Marelli Motorsport, MegaRide, Michelin, Multimatic, Piaggio, Politecnico di Torino, Porsche, University of Sao Paulo, Virtual Vehicle Research Institute, Volvo, Wuerzburg Institute for Traffic Sciences, ZF TRW (automotive); D2S, Railway Transport Cluster, University of Huddersfield, University of Twente (railway).
