VI-grade, in collaboration with Fraunhofer ITWM, RG Technologies and Danisi Engineering are happy to announce a 5-days training course dedicated to High Adherence Vehicle Dynamics Handling, to be held from October 17th to October 21st, 2016 at the Nast Proving Ground of the city of Xiangyang, China.
The training course is designed for anyone interested in questions like:
How can the handling of a newly designed vehicle be guaranteed to match the performance of a given target vehicle?
Which are the main aspects to be taken into account when developing a new chassis platform?
Which are the typical testing maneuvers to apply to correctly evaluate and develop the dynamic handling behavior of a car?
How to interprete the virtual and testing results coming from a simulation or measurement?
How can multibody simulation frontload and optimize the handling performance of a new non-existing vehicle?
The course will be held through the combination of virtual prototyping and physical testing in high adherence conditions on the Nest Proving Ground. After this course, the trainees will be able to understand how the theory of vehicle dynamics influences the dynamic handling behavior of a car. The training will also illustrate in detail how to model and evaluate the behaviour of a car in comparison with other vehicles, with respect to both virtual approach and physical perception.
Fundamentals of advanced Vehicle Dynamics with application and usage of advanced multibody modeling with VI-CarRealTime in combination with Fraunhofer ITWM - CDTire will be treated. Moreover, driving sessions of the vehicle with an instructor will be conducted, enabling to compare the handling performance of three different cars during typical handling maneuvers.
More information about this training (detailed agenda and cost of subscription) can be found in the brochure downloadable at this link.
