VI-DriveSim is VI-grade’s software infrastructure supervising and controlling all the Driving Simulator components.
If you are already using a VI-grade DESKTOP, COMPACT, STATIC or DiM DYNAMIC Driving Simulator, or if you are approaching to do that, attending a VI-DriveSim training is a great opportunity to learn all the functionalities and capabilities needed to master your Driving Simulator sessions. The training will be conducted by an expert trainer with deep experience using VI-grade tools.
As a Driving Simulator engineer, you should be handling several duties to make the simulator experience smooth and effective:
Vehicle model preparation and setup
Scenario, active components, auxiliary processes definition
Motion cueing tuning
Hardware setup (Cockpit, Sound, Visual System)
Telemetry data monitoring
Driver support management
In order to make sure that all tasks can be properly handled you will need to learn how all the different Driving Simulator components work together and can be controlled through the VI-DriveSim environment.
Who Should Attend
Driving simulator control room engineers
Vehicle dynamics engineers
Driving simulator managers
Goals
Getting familiar with the VI-DriveSim environment
Using real-time vehicle models on a driving simulator
Controlling all the Driving Simulator processes
Running a Driving Simulator session
Prerequisites
Fundamentals in vehicle dynamics and simulation are recommended
Basic MATLAB Simulink® skills are welcome.
The training will have the duration of 3 days and can be hosted at your company premises or in one of VI-grade offices and SimCenters.
