VI-Automotive is VI-grade’s solution based on the leading software for vehicle dynamics simulations is enabling engineering teams to quickly build and simulate fully parametric models of a vehicle including in a full detail the characteristics of vehicles and their components such as tires, suspensions, engine, and driveline.
VI-Automotive includes peculiar models of specific vehicle subsystems such as advanced representation of aerodynamic characteristics, automatic adjustments of suspension setup and the possibility of running 2D or 3D road/track profile by a sophisticated virtual driver algorithm able to push the vehicle to its limits and at the same time to compute structural loads and component durability.
If you are already into automotive simulation, motorsport, or if you are just approaching to the field, attending a VI-Automotive training is a great opportunity to learn how to create detailed multi-body models and to perform all the simulations tasks needed to assess dynamic, ride, and stability performance of the vehicle.
The training will be conducted by an expert trainer with deep experience using VI-grade modelling and simulation tools.
As a simulation engineer or analysit, you may be facing several challenges in order to assess the vehicle overall performance in a virtual environment:
Model templates creation and architecture layout optimization
Component data assessment
Vehicle suspension parameters adjustment
Simulation scenario definition
Virtual driver setup
Analysis and postprocessing of results
In order to make sure that all the tasks listed can be properly handled, a deep knowledge of the modelling and simulation environment is required.
During our VI-Automotive training you will be led through the different stages of modelling and simulation process, from Adams template builder basics, to VI-Automotive modelling and simulation techniques, outlining a process that will be easy to be implemented into your daily working environment.
Who Should Attend
Vehicle dynamics engineers
Suspension designers
Goals
Getting familiar with VI-Automotive simulation environment (standard interface)
Learning how to create you model templates including VI-Automotive components
Running and automating suspension and full vehicle simulations
Posprocessing results
The training will have the duration of 3 days and can be hosted at your company premises, in one of VI-grade offices or remotely on-line.
