Modern automotive development often suffers from a disconnect between high-fidelity offline multibody systems (MBS) analysis and real-time testing, frequently requiring vehicle model simplification or code generation that introduces physical inconsistencies. A unified methodology is presented using Simpack MBS Simulation Tool (part of Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA portfolio) to maintain a single-model database throughout the entire V-cycle, covering vehicle dynamics, NVH and durability. By utilizing a high-fidelity solver capable of direct real-time execution, the approach eliminates the need for model reduction in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Driver-in-the-Loop (DiL) environments, including the VI-grade ecosystem. This workflow enables seamless cross-disciplinary validation and live parameter tuning without physical prototypes or manual recompilation. Ultimately, this "single-source-of-truth" approach reduces validation effort, ensures consistency across all development stages and enables precise evaluation of complex vehicle behavior from concept design to full vehicle testing.
