ENABLING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMART PROTOTYPES BY UTILISING HORIBA MIRA’S VIRTUAL DURABILITY PROCESS
This presentation highlights how HORIBA MIRA supported the development of a durable vehicle programme for a start-up OEM, leveraging its expertise as chassis system partner to deliver a solution aligned with the client’s design and vehicle attribute targets. The presentation focuses on the durability attribute and explains how HORIBA MIRA integrated its CARDUR durability processes into the overall development strategy, enabling both virtual and physical durability testing and validation activities to be carried out efficiently in collaboration with the client’s engineering partners and suppliers.
The presentation retraces the key stages of the virtual prototype development process and demonstrates how the combined use of real and virtual RLD contributed to significant time and cost savings that would not have been achievable through physical testing and measurement alone.
