The activity described concerns the integration and validation of a dynamic driving simulator with a Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test bench dedicated to shock absorbers, with the goal of optimizing the vehicle’s dynamic performance in terms of handling and comfort. The work involves real time synchronization between the vehicle model, the virtual environment, and the physical actuation of the shock absorbers, ensuring consistency between the simulated response and the actual behavior of the components.
The integrated infrastructure enables the evaluation of complex maneuvering scenarios and road irregularities, reducing track testing time and costs.
The validation phase focuses on the quantitative comparison between HiL measurements, simulation results, and on road tests, refining parameters and models to improve accuracy and repeatability through a data driven approach combined with subjective feedback.
